An open source tool to rejoice in the laboratory of infinite experimentation that we carry within.
Idea
In the beginning, it was created as a tool to help build, track, and commit to routines. The seed concept was the belief that associating each routine with a music playlist would improve both commitment and joy. Later, two more functions were added: a way to set weekly goals using the pomodoro technique to carry them out, and a section to complete psychological questionnaires.
How does it work
- Download and install the app
- Create categories to organize events that you want to be aware of
- Each event can optionally trigger an action
- An action is any link your phone can open, like a playlist, a website, or a map location
- Once you have events, you can create weekly goals and keep track of them
Design Principles
- Require attention, not steal it
- Foster agency, not dependency
- Short interactions
- Frustration-driven development
Usage Principles (example)
- Music helps committing to routines
- The day starts the night before
- The mind is a cat
- Commitments can be Lego blocks
- Life is a dance
